Church of Santa Tecla

The Parrish Church of Santa Tecla stands by the lakeside. It was probably built in the Romanesque style and completely restored in the 15th and 17th centuries.

It has a very simple front with a fine Renaissance door and rose window.Inside, it has a barrel vault and many fine works of art. Most notably, an early 16th century wooden group representing the “Morning over the Dead Christ ” and a painting (Hecce Homo, 1502) by the Torno born painter Bartolomeo Benzi.
